This is a very rare ships brass capstan timepiece with white painted dial, sweep centre seconds and Admiralty arrow, bevelled glazed bezel, drum shaped case on a mahogany mount.
The outer numerals are the seconds/minutes, with the hours on the inside. The left hand button stops the second hand to ‘synchronise’ time, the right hand knob it to adjust the hands. The door locks with the winding key.
