This is a fine example of a late nineteenth century French Rosewood Balloon Clock.
The movement by AD Mougin is stamped with the Medal of Honour, is in lovely condition and has been recently serviced.
The case is in superb condition for its age and looks as if it has been very well looked after.
The white enameled dial is also in lovely condition, with only a few minor marks to show its age.
The clock strikes the hour and half hour via a lovely deep noted gong.
