This is a cute little mantle clock from around 1880, twin statues of rustic children flank a drum movement with an enamelled dial.

The single train movement is by Japy Freres, it has been stripped, cleaned and serviced and is ready to go (minor adjustment will be needed once the clock reaches its final destination).

The white marble base does have a few cracks, please study the pictures. The castings have been re-gilded with gilding paint and look beautiful again.

This has been a total refurbishment of this clock as it was missing hands, pendulum and didn’t run when it came in, it will now live again for another 100 years with care.
