French brass carriage clock.

Beautiful carriage clock, just restored, and ready to grace your mantlepiece or side table.

This French clock has been stripped, cleaned and polished. The case has been coated with microcrystalline wax to keep the patina of the aged brass, the movement has been cleaned, fully serviced and oiled, including a new mainspring.

Like all our restored clocks, we run them for at least 7 days to ensure everything works as it should.

There is some damage to the enamelled face at the top right corner, so small you will not see it in the pictures. There is one chipped side panel at the top, it is small and would be difficult to find unless you inspect the clock closely.

The clock has had a replacement escapement in a previous service, which looks very nice and is in keeping with the clock.
